This study will make a significant addition to the literature on Sri Lankan Muslims who have contributed to nation wellbeing immensely, and helps to understand the portion of their role in national fabric. The Muslim community has worked equally with others in building a prosperous country, unfortunately their services have been concealed. It is believed this study will fill the gap for some extent. And will be helpful for those who are interested to do something more in this direction.
About the Author
Dr. Rauff Zain is a well-known forward looking intellectual in contemporary Muslim community. He has been as a research fellow and educationist. Dr. Zain who has earned his Ph.D from University of Santander – Panama (South America) in 2018, completed his master of arts in Global History and earned Master of Philosophy in international relations. Even after completion of Ph.D in Education, he continues M.Sc in Psychology.
Dr. Rauff Zain has spent last two decades in research and writing as a result, he could author 55 books in diverse disciplines, such as international relations, Education, Psychology, Philosophy, History and post-colonialism, thus, there is a vast area where is honing profound knowledge and experience. On top of all these, he has the potential to provoke the sense of people by his attracting oratory power. Hence, he has the distinction of visiting more than 800 Muslim villages in the country as a resource in different commitments.
Education has been his focal point where he has already earned a rich experience. Through his decade long commitment as a teacher, consultant, researcher and writer. Dr. Rauff Zain has made a substantial contribution to the field.
